CONSUMER: Find out about hazardous waste collection
Welcome to ITGREEN. Depending upon where you live in the UK will dictate how best to recycle your equipment. We accept items posted to us and can offer stringent data removal techniques and industry leading resource extraction, backed by certification.
Many local authorities have a dedicated process to deal with this equipment, but this may involve export (either controlled or otherwise) to developing countries by third parties operating on behalf of your Council. Please be fully aware that your data will be at risk and this may include personal information about yourself. If using you council's local recycling center, please ensure you remove your hard drive as simply deleting your files will not remove them at all. By selecting your location on the map below, you will be able to find advice specific to where you live.
IT-Green will, as of Jan 2008 be able to offer AATF recycling services, meaning that we will be able to issue evidence notes to Producer compliance Schemes, the EU and collect from or on behalf of Local Authorities. If you believe your council could benefit from such a service, please let us know or contact your local Authority.
